LEARN is managed by a Board of Directors who are members of the Network. Currently, the Board has ten officers: President, President-Elect, Past President, Secretary-Treasurer, a student board member, and up to 5 members at-large. LEARN Board members are self-nominated and approved by a two-thirds vote of membership. The student board member is from an institution of higher learning active in the Network.
The LEARN Board of Directors have created five committees to carry out the functions of the Network including organizing research and assets, graduate and undergraduate opportunities, communications, special events, and an annual meeting.
LEARN membership includes voting members from academic institutions and non-voting members from government and public agencies who support the goals and objectives of the Network as stated in the purpose.
