2024 Water Career Fair at Heidelberg University

September 19 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Explore careers related to water quality and agriculture to learn more about opportunities and the required schooling to work in those careers.

Students will meet with professionals from more than 20 water quality-related fields to learn more about water as a career path as they navigate through displays about each field. Students will also have the opportunity to sit in on a panel of water quality experts as they discuss why they chose water quality as a career, their schooling and other water quality topics. Employers present will include government agencies, research institutes, private consulting firms, non-profits, and representatives of other water-related careers.

Students will also have the opportunity to tour and explore the National Center for Water Quality Research in Gillmor Science Hall. Information about the Environmental and Watershed Science major, as well as other science programs at Heidelberg – including chemistry, biochemistry, and biology – will also be provided to students who attend.

Expected audience includes middle school, high school, and college students.

10:30am-noon – College Students
9am-11am – Middle/High School Students

Lunch available upon request.
