Wetland Field Site Specialist, UToledo Lake Erie Center
Join a team of university researchers, graduate students, agency scientists, and technicians as we develop innovative methods to monitor wetlands across Ohio. The field site specialist based at the University of Toledo Lake Erie Center will work closely with the lead sensor coordinator and wetland base crew to install and maintain environmental sensors in wetlands in northwest Ohio associated with the H2Ohio wetland restoration initiative. The specialist will be responsible for the assembly, installation, connectivity, and maintenance of multiple sensors in wetlands and will assist with ordering, receiving, and transporting sensors and related equipment. The specialist will participate in project meetings and communicate with faculty and staff across the multi-university wetland monitoring effort with opportunities to contribute to program development, research results, reports, and publications.
